有两种或两种以上毛色的贵宾犬在专业上称之为异色贵宾，虽然美国AKC协会至今还只认定单色贵宾犬，但美国另一协会UKC（United Kennel Club），创建于1898年，是承认异色贵宾犬的。并且该协会已于2004年6月11日后准许参展与登记异色贵宾犬。

花贵包括白花色（50%以上的白色，另有其他颜色斑点或斑块。）定点色（纯色之外在眼上、两颊、喉咙、胸前、四肢或尾下有第二种毛色。）花白色（白色占50%以下，其他为另一种纯色）。另有虎斑色、黑貂色、复合色等。另外，1980年以后德国贵宾犬种标准，也接受了花色与定点色贵宾。

现在已经存在异色贵宾的单独犬展，在1945年以前AKC也有过异色贵宾完成冠军登陆的记录，此后AKC至今没有在犬种标准中认可异色贵宾。但是可以看出异色贵宾具备继续发展甚至被AKC重新接受的趋势。吉林省宠物网

花贵宾Z早在AKC是允许参赛的，为什么后来不给参赛了呢？就是因为繁殖起来难度相当大，没有稳定的繁殖记录。

打个比方，三代都花。保不准第四代又出纯色了。繁殖者没有办法把它做到普及。8 f& f' g6 J c# x. u5 ]) Q# t

2004年6月11日以后美国的一个UKC犬协承认了"异色"贵宾，并允许参展和登记.但是有很多要求：包括白花色(Parti-colored，白色占50%以上，另有其他纯色斑点或斑块)。定色点(Phantom,纯色之外，在眼上，两颊及喉咙，胸前或四肢及足部、尾下有第二种毛色，类似杜宾犬配色)。花白色(Abstract,白色占50%以下，其他为另一种纯色)。虎斑(Brindle)。黑貂色(Sable)。复合色(Multipatterned)等。另外，1980年以后德国贵宾犬种标准，也接受了花色与定点色等。

当然，这些所谓的”新毛色”在美国或德国比赛时，与传统的纯色是分开的。目前我国的比赛一般都采用AKC或者FCI的赛制，还没有花色贵宾的比赛．

As the multi colors were not wanted for show dogs in the past, they were often culled at birth and only the solid colors were kept for showing. This did not stop them from showing up in litters, since the siblings of the culled puppies could be carriers of the genes. Even though these dogs were not in favor, they were “historically” a correct Poodle color! There are many documented examples of them in historical paintings and books.

After many years of disdain, they are finally ** a comeback! Most of the ones seen today are the black and white. They are now allowed to register with the United Kennel Club (UKC) and as of June 2004, are now allowed in Conformation. Solid colored Poodles and other multiple colors are judged in separate events, with a Best of Breed chosen from both categories.

第二段说的是被认可的花贵的颜色式样。主要是白色为底色，配其他颜色的补缀，斑点是被承认的。特别指出一只有着白色的脚或白色胸毛的贵宾不是parti贵宾，在耳朵和背上有着奶油或杏色阴影的同样不能算。
